On 2nd October, 146th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the children of Ek Pahel. Also, it is the day when Swacch Bharat Abhiyan was launched in India last year. It is said that cleanliness is next to godliness and Mahatma Gandhi often advocated cleanliness of the mind, body, soul and surroundings. As a tribute to his thoughts, Ek Pahel celebrated the day by cleaning the city and also took up the peace rally in Gandhi Mandi, Sirsaganj, Firozabad supported by Ram Saran Vidhya Niketan. Around 1500 students from various schools participated in the Rally. The rally witnessed the cleanliness drive taken by people of Sirsaganj. Students used posters and slogans to visualize their idea of Swacch Bharat. The rally was flagged off by SDM, Sirsaganj - Shri Rajesh Verma. It was supported by Divine International Academy, Ideal Public School, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Aditya Vahini Satsang Mandal UP Vyapar Mandal, Shabdam Sanstha, Ram Sharan Vidhya Niketan, Jan Sanskratik Parishad, Press Club Sirsaganj, Nagar Palika Parishad, Sirsaganj.
